Today for feeling good Friday, we learnt about the 3 Superheros in your brain, there names are AMY, TEX and HIPPO, that is all of there short names there actual names are AMYGDALA, PRE-FRONTAL CORTEX and HIPPOCAMPUS.Amy is a gorilla, and AMY is the part of the Brain which if you see a bear you would freeze, fight and I forgot the other one, So when someone is annoying you and making fun of you AMY will start charging up and then you lose control. Tex is the part of your brain that will try and keep you calm and focused, but when Amy is out of control TEX cant do anything about it. HIPPO is the part of your brain that helps you with reading and memorizes. Have you learnt something reading this? If you have any questions just leave a comment.
Wow Tyler! You have done an incredible job with this. I like that you have done your own picture and diagram. Can you think of a situation where Amy the jumpy superhero took over and you found it hard to make a good decision?
