today we did haiku poem a haiku poem is a poem that has 5 silables in the first line 7 in the seconed and 5 in the last.we did a poem about winter and Jack frost.If you are asking yourself what is a silable?A silable is how many sounds are in the words here in my haiku poem.The fun part was coloring it in and the are part was thinking of the number of silables in the word.
Winter.
Winter is so cold
Jack frost come in the cold days
Winter gives us rain.
Jack Frost.
Jack frost came to school
Jack frost makes everything cold
My feet are chilly.
