Cartoon Me

Hey Readers
over the last couple weeks we have been working on making a cartoon of our-self. We had to go through a lot of different things and my fingers were broken after this. you have to do a lot of clicking and some other cool stuff, but sadly we couldn't do one of the things because it was blocked. The teachers tried there best but in the end they could not get it fixed. Here I am. If you have any questions just leave a comment. What do you think.

Persuade

Hey readers
Over the week we have been working on a writing topic/persuading. He had to pick a topic about what we are going to try and persuade the teacher. I am very good a persuading because I have done a lot of persuade writing before. Have you persuaded someone to do something before? Persuading is a good skill to learn. If you have any questions just leave a comment.

Weekends Should Be Three Days Long!

Do you think weekends go too fast?
In my own opinion weekends should be three days long so people get more hours and days to spend with family and friends. Also people can get more time to rest from a big game of sports.

Firstly, people don’t get enough time to spend with family and friends. If we have three day weekends we can have more time to have sleepovers and playdates with our friends. I normally only get a one day sleepover but with a three day weekend I will get a two and a half day sleepover, YAY. Family is important and with a longer weekend you will be able to play with your family and have more fun and hugs, Who doesn’t like hugs?

Secondly, sport takes one day, so if we have a two day weekend people that play sports only get one and a half day weekends because in my family sports take a whole day, so I don’t get much d to play with friends and family. If we have three day weekends I and everyone else that has sports can have a two day weekend so that means more fun, playdatas, sleepovers and lots of other fun. Even though sports are fun, my day goes too fast for me to have enough fun.

Finally, you can just have more fun, you can go to parks, swimming pools, road trips, walks you can go to a friends house and lots of other crazy things. Fun is one of the most important things in life. Social time is also important for some people but I think playing with friends is better. I don’t spend much time socializing but that’s me not you.

In conclusion, I strongly think weekends should be expanded to three days long, so people get more family/friends time, more time to train for sports/rest, and lots of other fun stuff. Three day weekends will give you more time to get fitter and go for more runs and walks. What would you do if we had three day weekends?

Scooter's Over The Years

Hey Readers
Over the last week we have been writing a information report about a topic. I found it quite easy because we did a plan to copy. Have you written an information report? If you have what about? I did it about scooters what do you think.

Scooter’s Over The Years

Introduction

Did you know that scooters were released in 1817. Scooters have changed over the years, their look, shape and cost. Scooters are a really good transport use from one place to another. Today there are scooters around the place that are electric for people in a rush or for fun.

First Made/History

Scooters over the years have evolutied, the first scooter was released in 1817 the same time as the bike was released. The first scooter made was the kick scooter which looked really weird. Scooters changed the world when they were released, it made it very easy to travel from 1 place to another.  Over a couple of centuries scooters were made for kids and adults, some are push scooters and others are human powered.

Appearance/Look

Some scooters have 2 wheels 3 wheels. The first scooter made had 1 handle/a pole that you had to turn to control it/ turn left and right. Today's scooter still has 1 pole but they have 2 handles, so you push one hand forward and it will turn the other way, it's quite hard to explain. Some scooters look different from the material that was used.

Cost

Did you know that the most expensive scooter in the world is $22,598.25 NZD?

Scooters have changed cost over centuries. Some scooters go on the material that they used to create the beautiful manpowered machine.

Conclusion

Scooters have changed over the years from kick scooters to electric.

How Zebras Got There Stripes

Hey Readers
Toady we finished our myth, over the whole week we have been writing a myth. I found it realy fun and interesting to learn the difference of a legend and a myth. A legend is something that is unbelievable, and a myth is something that people could believe. If you have any questions just leave a comment. This is my first time writing and myth and it was a very good experience. Have you written a myth before?

A long, long time ago zebras had no stripes. There was a zebra named Jeff that lived in Africa. One day Jeff went for a tramp. Later he got tired so he sat down under a tree and hit the hay. Along can Monk the monkey with a big smirk on his face. He grabbed Jeff's tail and tied it around the tree, so when he woke from his slumber he would be stuck.

1 Hour later Jeff woke from his snooze, and started walking home, until he realized that he wasn't moving. He looks back and sees his tail tied around the tree. He tries to get it undone by running away from it, but it is no use. He cried out for help but no one showed up, so he decided to wait till tomorrow.

The next morning, Jeff woke from his doze and his tail was untied. He jumped in excitement, darting around the place, until donk, he hit his head on a branch and went SPLAT, into a oozy, sloppy, muddy thing. Jeff wakes up a couple of minutes later, very muddy and dirty. He started heading home and on the way he found a lake so he jumped into it to get squeaky clean. But then when he walked out he had black stripes all over him, so he darted home to tell his mum.

“Mum, MMMMUUUUUUM look at me look at me, I have stripes”

“What, how did you get those stripes?” Jeff’s mum asked.

“I fell into a squishy oozy thing.”

“A what” says Jeff's mum confused.

“Come on I'll show you” Says Jeff running off into the distance.

Once Jeff and his mum got to the  squishy, oozy thing she did the same thing that Jeff did and got stripes too. That's how zebras got their stripes.
