Over the last week we have been making a debate about gaming addiction. We have to do the good things about gaming and the bad thing about gaming, it's called pros vs cons. Describe A Moment In Time.

 Hey Readers

over the last 2 week we have been working on another moment in time. A moment in time is a writing thing which you can describe what is going in a picture. we have been doing moment and time for a long time. if you have any questions just leave a comment. Looking around, seeing bent and broken trees, they start to get butterflies. The trees are swaying side to side creaking and cracking. The forest is as dark as a room that has no lights and windows in it. 

The water is making the boat sway side to side as the alligators zoom after prey. The decomposed vegetation smells like a group of dead animals. The smell of alligator digestive makes everyone gag. The girl in pink dips her hand in the water and then smells her hand and immediately pushes it away. Washing her hand makes them rock side to side.

They look around and see God's fingers starting to see light. Looking to the left and right they can’t see far till darkness hits. The sun is allowing the people to see the twisted and tilted trees that were hidden in the darkness. The Foggy mist is getting pushed away as the sun takes over.

The girls hair is dangling just above the water. As the fish jump the birds sing in fear. As the trees rustle and the boats rock the fog is almost clear. The girls are screaming in fear as the water is switching from side to side as the alligators circle.

The people are near the end and the sun is shining straight through the fog. The alligators are no match for the people. They feel success. They feel grounded. They feel safe. 

Metaphors

Today we did a mine lesson on metaphors. metaphors are like a simile but it cant use as or like. A metaphor can only use was, were, are and is. I found it quite hard because im am use to similes. We did a work sheet and it took me 4 goes but at the end I got the all good. If you have any questions just leave a comment. What one of easier

Today we did a lesson about similes. Similes are a thing you use  in your writing which you combine 2 things to one. I found it really easy because I an good a similes. Do you know what a simile is? We had to use the words like or as in it. The teachers found pictures that we had to make a simile out of. If you have any questions just leave a comment.

Maori Creating

last week we did a video on us saying greeting's in Maori. I was not at school that day so I was a bit late to blog is sorry. I found it quite easy as we did practice on it. I find Maori a very cool language because there are a lot of different word and sayings. Maori is a great language to learn you should try it. If you have any questions just leave a comment.

Wonder

Today we did a wonder character thing. Wonder is a book and a movie about a kid that doesn't look like everyone else he look a lot different and he has to go to school. No more spoilers but he found a site witch you can make your own character and it was so much fun we had a fun play around and then made our-self and I thing I turned out very well. We are reading wonder at school and it is a banger, you should read it. My precept was."Hard word beats talent when talent doesn't word hard". What do you think? Show dont tell

Today for writing we did a mine-lesson a show don't tell, it is like you show a feeling in your writing but you don't tell them the feeling. I found it quite hard but I was the first person done Yay. What you does this is your writing before? If you have what feeling? We  had to do normal feeling but with harder feeling is would of taken me a lot longer. When do you think.
