Today for digital citizenship we learnt about What to do and don´t in a situation. we had to write a do on a piece of paper and everyone else did. And then the teacher grabbed a card out with a situation of it and we had to find out the best one for the situation. Today we had finished out information reports about something. I picked a whale shark because they are a very cool and different fish. Whale sharks are very big and are a lot different and bigger than any other fish or shark. Whale sharks are a shark that can swallow fish half there body size. Whale sharks are very cool and different from other sharks. They are capable of swallowing fish half the size of them. And there are only 2K left in the world and only 17 out of 64 species left.
Appearance
Whale sharks can weigh up to 19k kg when fully grown and can grow up to 10 meters long but start at 5.5 to 6 meters long, and their mouth can open up to 1.5 meter long and wide.
Diet
Whale sharks after eating food they let water into their mouth to digest the food. And their nose is very close to the top of its mouth, which you could smell from everything you eat. They also eat plankton, small shrimp and any other food/fish they can swallow.
Habitat
Whale sharks live in lagoons and coral reefs. They like to live in coral reefs because little fish that they can swallow are all amressed. They also like water that is 30’C and 35’C degree water.

Today and yesterday we have been learning about tigers for reading. Tigers are the worlds biggest cat and they love water. Tigers are endangered and are getting worse. Today and yesterday we have been working on a sheet on endangered animals because tomorrow we are writing a information report about a animal, to today and yesterday we have been researching about some animals and today in this blog post I am going to tell you two interesting facts about animals. Endangered animals are animals that are going to go extincted, and extincted mean that they are no longer going to be alive/not going to be a animals anymore. And now the two interesting facts are did you know that the oldest shark in the world is a Greenland Shark and it is about 273 years old.
