Treasure Map

Today for reading we made a treasure map. I found it realy fun and challenging, The challenging part was that you had to think of cool and scary names for it and the fun part was that you could do any obstacle you want. Today for the first day of school we did an activity and we had to draw pictures of the things that we did in lock down. Distance Writing Book

Today for writing we did the last 2 activity is this slide show. I have enjoyed doing this slide show it was very fun and interesting.  today we did a 6 story sentience and a thing that we had to put 10 things that we can see out of our bedroom window or what we want in our dream bedroom. Yesterday for writing we did an activity were we had to full in a sheet with ingredient for our favorite  recipe and we had to put it in steps. then we had to do another activity which we had to put 10 things that we appreciate during lock down. today for think about it Thursday we learnt about why bees sting. We had to do an activity which we had to fill in why we think bees sting and then we went of this site called wonderopolis which will answer your questions that you have been thinking of forever. Today for What´s this Wednesday we did a pic-lit. Pic-Lit is a site that lets you drag or write things about a picture, It is quite hard to enplane. In My Bubble

Today for writing we did an activity and it was about what we have done in our bubble. We had to do one of the abcs things and fill it up with things that we have done during lock down, and then for the 2nd task we had to make a profile of every member that live in the same house as you, I found the profile task every fun because you had to do a nickname for them and a skill that they have and a hobby that they do. 24 Hour time

Today for math´s we learnt about 24 hour time, 24 hour time are like so you get to 12 o-clock but then it goes to 13 o-clock. 13 o-clock in 12 times in 1 o-clock. We had to do an activity that had a lot of random questions that we had to answer in 12 hour times or 24 hour times. I fin 12 hour times easier to tell and 24 hour times harder to tell. Te Reo Tuesday

Today for Te Reo Tuesday we did an activity and in the activity we had to drag lines to the meaning, because we have been learning about the Maori words for inside, outside, behind, in front, on and under. Chapter 17 Harry Potter

Today we did a padlet and a word search about chapter 17, We had to do the word search and scram shot it at the end but we couldn´t because it kicked up out as soon an we did it so I dont have a scream shot for you but I have a scream show of the padlet for you. In the padlet we had to do what we liked about this half of the chapter and why. This is the last chapter so we read half of it so we can read the other half tomorrow. Tangram

Today for make it Monday we learnt about Tangram, which is 7 shapes that whey use to 7 shapes that they use to make models of and then they would build it. We used a site call Toy theater, which aloes you to make shapes and do lots of other things. We had the 7 shapes  in front of  us and we had to drawings of some builds with the 7 shapes that people have done before, and we had to copy one of the shapes on the scream and then we had to make one of the own. The teacher gave use a challenge to try and make a square out of the 7 shapes and I did it. I found it realy fun and easy to make it. Can Anything Live Forever

You are probably wondering can anything live forever, Yes there is one creature that can live forever and it is a jellyfish, This jellyfish can live forever because it can restart its life. It starts from a baby and then grows into an adult but then when it get to old it can go back to a baby. It is call invetied metamorphosis. we did a slide show and we had to put what we thought could live forever and then we went onto this site and watched a video, and then put what we now know. Today we did another animaker. This animaker was way harder to make but the teacher made it easier by putting videos on how to do it. It was so hard but so fun at the same time. Te Reo Tusday

Today for Te Reo Tusday we learnt how to so where is in Maori, I did this last year but I forgot how to say it so I learnt it again today. It was good because they had a song/video that had all of the word and things that you needed to know. We had to do a slide show that shows the words in Maori and then in English and we had to move the book to the right place as it said. What Makes a Quality Blog Post?

Today for writing we learnt about what makes a quality blog post. A quality blog post is a blog post that has all of these things in to, Makes sense, punctuation and correct spelling, DLO ( Digital Learning Object), Good Hook, Includes something about your learning and Relevant labels. We had to do an activity that had links to blogs and boxes that had all of the things it needs to be a quality blog post.We had to read the blog post and then color boxes the color that they get, for example of they had a good hook you color the box that sees good hook green, then there is yellow and you color the box yellow if it isn't quite there like its a good hook but not catchy, and then red, you color the box red if they missed it so if they didnt put a hook in you color the box red. Area and Perimeter

Today we learnt about Area and perimeter. we used a website called toy theater to make a block drawing so we can learn about it easier. Area is how many blocks are inside the drawing that you did so in the picture you will see the grass at the bottom, and the area of the grass in inside it. the perimeter is the blocks outside on the drawing so the perimeter of the grass is 32 because if you imagine block are it all you got to do is count all of the blocks around the grass it should be 32. do you know the area of the tree trunk? Superheros In Our Brains

Today for feeling good Friday, we learnt about the 3 Superheros in your brain, there names are AMY, TEX and HIPPO, that is all of there short names there actual names are AMYGDALA, PRE-FRONTAL CORTEX and HIPPOCAMPUS.Amy is a gorilla, and AMY is the part of the Brain which if you see a bear you would freeze, fight and I forgot the other one, So when someone is annoying you and making fun of you AMY will start charging up and then you lose control. Tex is the part of your brain that will try and keep you calm and focused, but when Amy is out of control TEX cant do anything about it. Today for writing we have been doing comic and today we are going to do a quality blog post about one of our comic that we have made, the comic is called Truth or Lie. I have been enjoying doing these comic because there is a lot of challenge in them to make them perfect. We used a website called Pixton.
